FAQs

Does it matter what treatment I book in for?

Overall, no it shouldn’t matter too much. The main differences are dependant on if its an injury, or if its more muscle tension and you are in need of a loosen up (sports massage), will depend on what session you book in for.

There’s a few differences between our treatment options online. If you are booking in with Lauren - injury treatment or maintenance sessions, either option is fine to choose. As we can discuss in your session what you need before moving onto the treatment side.

We also have a new Injury treatment option with Jana - Integrated Sports Rehab & Injury Treatment. This is perfect for you, if you are new to training or feel you could benefit from more guidance when it comes to initially starting your rehabilitation program.

In most cases, we offer each client a personalised rehabilitation program after your treatment to ensure you can continue to progress when you aren’t at the clinic. Therefore, if you feel like you could benefit from some assistance with your rehab exercises, booking in a 90 minute integrated sports rehab & injury treatment will allow you to have your injury assessed, treated and have a specialist by your side demonstrating and correcting your form when you go through your tailored treatment plan, so you can feel confident you are performing your exercises correctly.

If you book in to see Alex - sports massage, hot stone therapy, pregnancy massage; this will matter what you choose. For example if you chose a sports massage but you wanted hot stone therapy, you will not be able to receive the hot stone treatment, as the stones will need to be heated up with enough time before your session starts. The same goes for pregnancy massage, Alex will need to bring in the correct equipment to ensure your comfort before your treatment.

However, if you are booking a sports massage and have a few niggles and wasn’t sure if it needed to be an injury or sports massage, Alex will be able to assess this within your treatment and even if it’s a bigger injury that needs to be moved onto an injury treatment appointment, she could still start the recovery process by assessing and loosening off the right muscles where needed to give you some relief.

If you aren’t sure about anything above, please reach out to us and we will be happy to explain further, as sometimes it can be a case by case scenario.
